May 5, 2015: The lab has been officially awarded our first NSF grant entitled "Examining the macroevolutionary trajectories in Amoebozoa, a major lineage of eukaryotes"! The grant is funded through the Division of Environmental Biology, Systematics and Biodiversity Science Cluster. 

April 28, 2015: Brown was named as the researcher of the month (April/May 2015) by the College of Arts & Sciences at Mississippi State University. http://cas.msstate.edu/research

April 10, 2015: Nicholas Bailey will be presenting his poster during the 8th Annual Biology Undergraduate Research Symposium at Mississippi State University today.

March 18, 2015: Brown was named as the recipient of the 2015 College of Arts & Sciences Research Award for the Natural & Physical Sciences.
